The End :0

Shayla can't believe she's actually sitting here right now. Two months ago she had arrived at the same place. And now she sits here talking to herself in third person like any normal person who was bored waiting for a flight. Last night Shay went to Wednesday night meeting, then back to the grounds, and she bid adue to the workers. After all that was done with she traipsed over to the Skallebergs. She, Andreas, Sven, and Robert sat around while Andreas strummed random tunes on the guitar and Sven came up with random lyrics to go along. After that, they all jumped on the couch and watched Seinfield episodes.... Shay's incredible going away party closed with an episode of Highschool Musical chosen by Andreas Skalleberg himself.
....That's what i call a going away party lol. no for real. I prefer hanging out with that family rather than a huge gathering of people that i hardly know the names of, with lots of noise (although we did make quite a bit on our own) and so many things to do th@ i wouldnt know what to do.
In all the summers i've remembered having...
I dont recall having such an amazing one. ever.
hah what beats Sweden?! ...It's beautiful... O_O
I didnt cry leaving home.. who would do that anyway.
..but when i madwe my way slowly back down the walk from the Skallebergs...i must admit i did cry lol.. it felt like i was leaving home. I cant explain the feeling. but i know if i dont go back to Sweden..im going to be sick or something drastic like that.
By the way, I'm not shunning Finland or anything. It's just that Sweden is like..a refrigerator and i am a little magnet lol. I'm pretty sure I started missing Sweden weeks before I left it. .....It's like leaving your husband or wife (not that i've ever had the chance to do that) BAD!BAD!BAD!
with a big Fat caution! -sign tying those 3 bads together in a big Fat bow.
Sweden is like .. hair.
you can cut it off..but its going to keep growing back.. and its always going to be there to remind you that you cant get rid of it. (well atleast until you grow oooold) heh.
and when you do cut it off you get a bad conscience about it and probably feel completely ridiculous for trying to get rid of it because you know that you felt better before you grabbed the scissors. and also if you shave your head, it will be a slow nerve-wracking growth . and each little hair is like an individual memory, and if you put a scarf on to hide your baldness, those memorys are going to be painful coming back. but i didnt tell you to shave your head now did i?

MY LITTLE WHEELS ARE GRINDING BIG IDEAS=]

So hey everyone. hows it goin? hope its going well and that as a result of me not posting, you havent shoved dougnut after dougnat down your throat to ease the depression, or that in hopes a new post will magically appear, you have read the old posts out loud over and over and over and now when you talk to people its always in fragments and phrases from my posts only you speak it in a monotonous voice because you have lost the enthusiasm of shayla-personality. Convention in Finland was great, although the mosquitoes were a little too overwhelming and i have lost bits and pieces of me, so dont be surprised if i come home looking like swiss cheese. I am unsure of how convention in Sweden was because i was asleep most the time. lame joke im just kidding Stockholm convention hasne even started yet. but pretty close. It's not that i dont want to go home, but im going to miss these places ATON. i feel a sortof connection to them. it feels like home. and i want to go back as soon as possible. I hope my traitor-ness to Nebraska hasnt caused anyone reading this anxiety and depression :o here have another dougnut. ugh. summers almost over and i still havent mustered up the guts to come out of my room today and say hello and then say goodbye. Do you know what this means?! no not six more weeks of winter. :p it means i have no guts. someone tell a doctor! mt humor is horrible i know. its just that i've run out of dougnuts so now im going to have to borrow from the police station. how embarrassing. this whole post is embarrassing says shayla. look up there it says my little wheels are grinding big ideas and somehow im not seeing any big ideas. probably because your little wheels went a little too far with the grinding. oh yes i se e a little pile of what looks like colorful sawdust on the floor. it keeps falling from the sky. only the color is fading fast to gray. your gettin old shay. at least your ideas are. :p how embarrassing. so guess what guys, i actually drink black coffee. i bet that threw you off... no but for real i do. its good. not exactly what i'd call a party in the mouth, but.....well maybe its a bitter people club party. but i like the bitterness. how sad. maybe i should have asked the cop for more dougnuts after all. well im thinking that im going to get going now. this is too embarrassing.

From The Eyes of The Mosquito

First I will start off with your definition of myself. Mosquito: A maddening insect that adores peskering people, for example Shayla's. ---- Next i shall share my definition of myself:D Mosquito: A very social insect. Enjoys gnawing on things, has a cute suction looking thing on its face for kissing of course. ----Wellwell there, now you are all set to hear my story.
It is a blissful pleasant day on the convention grounds in Vasterhankmo. The air is teeming with all sorts of conversations, for we are to have a visitor today. Of course, it was meant to be a surprise, but I discovered the information being passed along among the people. For the time being, I am resting to give the guest a most enthusiastic greeting. ..And then out from behind a cloud of my friends, appears.....A WALKING PIECE OF MEAT!!! OH YUMM!.....wait... oh dear I do believe I'm mistaken. It IS a walking piece of meat in one sense, but no this is the visitor! Hmm maybe if all those others would move out of the way I'd actually get to see this person. The human leans over to grab a paint bucket and a paintbrush, and that is when I seize the chance. When the being stands upright, there I am right in it's face so as to be seen and heard. ''Why hello there:)'' I say in my most pleasant tone. Oh look it's a girl!!! She's waving at me quite energetically so she must be pleased at my kindness. She's beginning to paint and looks quite busy so I wont get in her way. I swarm around her head dozens of times, and rest on her arms and legs to let her know she's not alone in this world. Not quite sure how she'll react, I land on her face. Quickly with enthusiasm her hand reaches up and caresses me quite roughly. ''Lets not get too excited'' I somehow manage to find breath to say. She doesn't say anything back but seems happy that I flew away. She probably wasn't expecting to react like such either. My neighbors and friends come and go, and she waves at them too. Soon her waving becomes quite vigorous, and some of them don't understand the friendly gesture and leave. Somehow she seems more content when the numbers of company drop. Maybe she's anti-social... ''No couldn't be'' I think out loud. ''Didn't you see how much she likes you??..Oh and my she is cute, yeah go on tell her how you feel.'' Finally, I give in to my conscience. Not trying to be sneaky, I make my way casually as if it's a normal occasion. As I draw nearer, I see she hears my approach. To my great pleasure, she reaches and grabs a bottle of..perfume?! wow she must really be into me;)! By the sound and smell of it she practically uses it as a shower! My excitement is brimming over and I can no longer beat around the bush. With a burst of speed I rush to her ear, begin to whisper sweet nothings, and keel over in a dead faint.

Svenska Skolan

June 1st 2009
So i just got out of swedish lessons. Well the first one that is. The teacher doesn't know I'm dumb so she goes quite fast. Yeah so you know how I'm horrible with numbers in English? Turns out Swedish #'s stuff doesn't give you any magical knowledge power!

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step".

If I could walk a thousand miles do you think time would pass me by??

Yeah well I went up to the board to do something of some sort that had to do with some numbers. (You can tell I payed much attention =2)
Yea well I didn't understand at all and the teachers like: "bloobedytoolablah" and I'm like Oh really?..... non not really I'm clueless. And then they all were like heehee she don't know her numbers. xD

BUT when I finally DID pull out my brain, the laughter was already out of everyone. But it's'all good cuz I made some comment about spiderman somewhere along the way and they laughed at my wise-crackiness. =]
Oh and this is what happened when they found out I was 14.

DRESS CODE :o!!!

k SO. The day I got to Stockholm, (you know wayyy back towards the first couple entries) Laura and I went to the mall to eat. AAnd so i got to see PEOPLE :o. Gasp how strange i know. Hmm anywho from what i saw around the streets and the Ferry, everyone pretty much dresses the same. only. a little different from Nebraska. And STRANGE... here the style is either skinny pants/jeans with heels or hightops. but not that THATS weird, its normal. whats Weird is that all ages wear them. yeah im talking grandma's wearing tighttight pants with cool shoes. How abnormal. And all the old men or...yeah try to look like rockstars. it'd be halarious if they didnt succeed in doing so.. TO BECCA: just imagine my mom and your mom strutting around in skinnys. what a sight. oh and its also just as stylish to wear a jeanskirt, dress, any kind of thing like that. and all the little boys and girls dress exactly like the rest of them, only its not as odd as grandmas in skinnys.
NERD. YEAH!

Pictures from Vaasa Sat May 30th

Up in Vaasa

"I have been a wanderer among distant fields. I have sailed down mighty rivers"
Percy Bysshe Shelley

Yeah I have sailed down many rivers also. These people got tired of my descriptive descriptions and threw me off the ferry. An I didn't even get a souvenir wand. Psh..........what a prankster, i was just messing heheh. Yea so I'm at these peoples house and they have a giant dog named Nalle which means Teddy Bear. And it's black, not to be racist or anything. Oooh look at my cool chucks.
They are pretty fantastic. I put the alphabet on them so I don't forget. Just in case. Cuz you know these people are plotting to brain wash me. That's why they speak in code-talk. I just knew it. Well I'll hood wink them, cuz I am taking lessons on this secret stuff and pretty soon I'll be brain washing them!

Pictures from the Ferry

On a Ferry (Amorella)

So yeah, as I said I'm on a ferry and it's GINORMOUS.My sister friend and I> Oh yeah and i forgot to mention the odd pointless-ish conversations I had with Robert. They involved: Bee's, Biting tables, getting buried alive, cremation, pancakes, nurserys, Home work, The weather, (which by the way we both immediatly ceased discussing because of signs of gray hairs and pruney *shriveled* skin that could possibly appear.
